IMAGES Program
What You Need to Bring
We need you to bring along two items to the September meeting - your camera and an item that is personal to you. We will leave the decision of which personal item to bring up to you but you might want to think along the lines of a cuddly toy, a favourite mug or your 1st grade trophy for excellent colouring in skills. We don’t recommend live items (yes, we’re sure your pet boa constrictor is lovely) or overly large items.
There is a reason that Rotterdam was named the City of Architecture 2007. Cube houses, the largest bascule bridge in the world and the tallest building in the Netherlands all make up this modern city. On October 22nd we invite you to spend the day with us, exploring the city and photographing its unique design. The excursion will be split into three parts – daytime shooting, lunch/dinner and nighttime shooting. You are welcome to join us for the whole day or just the daytime or nighttime shooting if you prefer.
Details sent via email on September 24th or have a look here: http://imagesphotoclub.com
Of interest to the landscape, nature and macro photographers, IMAGES will be visiting De Horsten estate. It will be a morning visit but all that works out perfectly for your “Early Morning” POTY entry. The list of birds, butterflies and plants that can be found is too long to mention here, so take a look at the website.

We've arranged a weekend sailing trip on the 8,9,10th of June 2012. We will board on Friday the 8th 20:00 on the ship which will be moored in Harlingen. From there we have easy access to both the Waddenzee and the IJsselmeer. On Saturday we will either sail to a village on one of the Islands or along the coast or will fall dry on one of the many sandbanks. Of course the weather and tide play a big part in this choice. On Sunday we'll sail back to Harlingen where we will arrive around 17:00.
Details sent out via email on October 11th or see here: http://imagesphotoclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=1627
